What exactly does food do to your body? I've been examining this issue since the beginning of 2003. Before that time I had no idea except that I ate what I felt like, especially high calorie great tasting foods, since I've always been thin & attempting to gain some weight and bulk. When I visited my doctor in early 2003, he told me that my cholesterol level was slightly high at 201. I was told that I'd be put on cholesterol lowering medication if I didn't lower it by changing my diet. This was my wake up call. My diet now consists of actively avoiding intake of foods containing any amounts of saturated fat, trans fat, and cholesterol. I've never felt better, even though the foods I eat are somewhat bland. Please post ideas for me of new foods I can eat that meet my requirements and keep me healthy.
